I will not get tired to inform Ugandans until they understand this. The age limit for being in office as president of Uganda is not 75 years. It is 80 years and even beyond according to the 1995 constitution.
The constitution only limits the age for eligibility to stand. Legally and constitutionally speaking you can be allowed to stand at the age of 74 years and 11 months. Then in the next elections you will be 79 and 11 months and you cannot stand but you remain in office until elections are held and then you hand in. By the time elections are held and in case there is even a re-run you will be 80 and beyond.
